This exhibition reveals how design drives the evolution of communication technologies, turning functional devices into cultural icons. The display showcases original objects – from the 1927 Frankfurt telephone and the iconic ‘Snow White’s coffin’ phonograph to the Apple Macintosh – highlighting changes in materials, form and user interaction. A playful scavenger‑hunt with illustrated drink coasters guides visitors through the permanent exhibition, connecting each coaster to a specific design icon. Coasters are free to take home, turning media‑history into a tangible, everyday conversation piece.
