Town Scapes – Icons of Urban Change

To mark what would have been the photographer's 100th birthday, the Historical Museum presents two collection shows of Ursula Edelmann's work. In 'Frankfurt Once?' you can see her iconic black-and-white and colour prints of municipal buildings, streetscapes and infrastructure, from bombed-out ruins to bold modernist structures. The 13th Collectors' Room focuses on her intimate shots of the museum's own rebuilding in the 1950s and 60s, offering a rare behind-the-scenes look at the city's evolving identity.
