About this event
Instead of polished display cases, you’ll walk into a working archive at the Weltkulturen Museum. Ethnographer Seruya spent years gathering material about the Wafuranki people, and her study is presented here as an open research site: field notes, objects, photographs, sound recordings and institutional documents arranged for you to explore. The museum invites you to browse the holdings, draw your own connections, and step into a world where the boundaries between documentation, interpretation and belief are consciously left blurred. The exhibition is less a finished product than an invitation to experience ethnographic research as an ongoing, participatory process. It suits anyone curious about how knowledge is made rather than simply displayed.
