Sossenheim Christmas Market

This is a cosy local Christmas market on the Sossenheim Kirchberg, held on the first Sunday of Advent. Last year's market had around 18 stalls, according to the organisers. Outside, a children's choir is due to sing earlier in the day. It is a small, community-style market rather than a big city-centre affair. It suits families with children, neighbours and anyone who prefers a relaxed start to Advent close to home, with a short stroll between the stalls and the church.
