Ebi Live 2026

About this event

Ebi is one of the most enduring voices in Persian pop. Born in Tehran, he began his career in the 1970s and became a superstar with songs like "Shab" and "Gole Yakh". After the 1979 revolution, he moved to Los Angeles, continued releasing albums, and toured the world, playing to sold-out crowds in venues from the Greek Theatre to the Sydney Opera House. His music blends romantic ballads with upbeat pop, and his catalogue has provided the soundtrack for generations of Iranians. The concert takes place in the Jahrhunderthalle's Kuppelsaal, which offers both seated and standing areas depending on the configuration. Doors open at 19:30, with the show starting at 21:00. Expect a set packed with classic hits, plenty of sing-along moments, and a crowd that loves to dance. Food and drinks are available from the venue's catering partner, Food Affairs. Because Ebi now performs only occasionally, the concert draws the Persian diaspora in particular, but anyone curious about Iranian pop music will find a warm, celebratory atmosphere. It is a nostalgic evening with one of the genre's true veterans.
