About this event
Trumpeter and flugelhornist Thomas Siffling, known for his smooth, lyrical tone and melody-focused solos, is joined by the powerful-voiced singer Menna Mulugeta for a charming and humorous front line. Along with a tight rhythm section—Sebastian Gahler on piano, Nico Brandenburg on double bass and Oliver Strauch on drums—they turn classic and modern Christmas songs into swinging jazz arrangements. Siffling, an engaging host, keeps the mood light and cheerful between tunes. The concert is a warm, chamber-music-like evening in the intimate setting of the Holzhausenschlösschen.
