Die Nacht der Musicals is a touring gala that brings the biggest hits from the world's most popular musicals to Frankfurt for one night. Over more than two hours, a cast of soloists who have performed in original productions present selected solo, duet and ensemble numbers from classics like The Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Evita, Grease, and Mamma Mia!, as well as newer sensations such as Frozen, Moulin Rouge!, and The Lion King. The show cuts across genres — from the rock flair of The Rocky Horror Show to the romantic ballads of Elisabeth — punctuated by dance acrobatics and staging that evokes the atmosphere of the West End and Broadway. Elaborate costumes, lighting and sound design make this a polished music-cocktail evening for anyone who loves musical theatre.
