This exhibition takes you on a sensory journey into the Arctic. Large-scale panoramic projections sit alongside intimate video interviews in which people living in Greenland – from a fisherman to an influencer – share their personal perspectives. Through headphones, you choose which voices to follow. The show also presents the first comprehensive exhibition in Germany of Julie Edel Hardenberg, one of Scandinavia’s most influential political artists. It confronts the effects of global warming, colonial history, and the struggle for independence in a land six times the size of Germany that has become an unwilling focus of world powers.
