About this event
dIRE sTRATS have performed over 800 concerts across Germany and won the national tribute band contest in Koblenz. The six-piece ensemble around frontman and guitarist Wolfgang Uhlich – celebrated by fans as one of the best Mark Knopfler imitators – delivers a 100% live programme filled with Dire Straits classics like “Sultans of Swing”, “Walk of Life” and “Brothers in Arms”. No backing tracks or tricks, just precise solos and that special connection with the audience. If you’ve ever wanted to experience the music of Dire Straits in a live setting, this tribute show is a faithful way to hear the songs that travelled the world, from a band that has earned its place on the big stage.
