About this event

British hard rock institution Deep Purple brings over five decades of riff-driven music to the Festhalle. The current line-up – Ian Gillan (vocals), Roger Glover (bass), Ian Paice (drums), Don Airey (keyboards) and Simon McBride (guitar) – delivers classics like “Smoke on the Water” and “Highway Star”, alongside newer material from their 2024 album “=1”. Expect muscular live renditions with extended instrumental interplay and the band’s signature blend of blues, hard rock and progressive textures. The evening opens with a set by young UK rock act Jayler. Attendees under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (see venue website for full age policy). The show is part of the “SPLAT! World Tour 2026”.
