The documentary follows the artists of Mangan25 on expeditions across six continents, from the jungles of Papua New Guinea and Venezuela to the eternal ice of the Arctic and the Himalayas, and various deserts. They encounter extraordinary tribes and stories along the way. One chapter is dedicated to the dramatic Nanga Parbat expedition in which Thuringian Günther Jung lost his life, featuring footage by mountain filmmaker Gerhard Baur.
