About this event
Now in its 32nd edition, Verso Sud brings a curated selection of recent Italian films to Frankfurt, with a focus on auteur cinema that has made waves with audiences and critics in Italy. Filmmakers are regularly invited to present their work and discuss it with the audience. Each year also features a special homage—past honourees include Fellini, Monica Vitti, and Marcello Mastroianni. Morning screenings for school groups are also offered.
