Stand-up Comedy with Micutzu, Geo, George and Alex

About this event

Four of Romania's most sought-after stand-up comedians — Micutzu, Geo Adrian, George Dumitru and Alex Ioniță — bring their joint tour to the Club stage of the Jahrhunderthalle. The show, titled 'RO ALERT: Atenție, vin urșii!' (Attention, the bears are coming!), sold out venues across Romania and now travels to European cities with large Romanian communities, including Frankfurt. The performance is entirely in Romanian. Expect a fast-paced evening of observational comedy, sharp storytelling and everyday absurdities rooted in life back home: family, bureaucracy, emigration, and the quirks of contemporary Romania. The humour is direct and often adult in tone — the organisers recommend the show for ages 16 and up. The Club at Jahrhunderthalle offers an intimate, close-up setting that suits the raw energy of stand-up. Doors open an hour before showtime, and mobile phones must remain switched off during the show to protect new material. It is a rare chance for Frankfurt's Romanian-speaking crowd to catch a headline-level comedy lineup without travelling.
