About this event
The International English Choirs are a network of non-audition, English-speaking community choirs across Hessen, each about 60 voices strong. For this one-night Frankfurt concert, the Monday and Wednesday groups combine — roughly 120 singers — to belt out modern pop and rock classics by ABBA, Adele, Elton John, Lady Gaga, and more. A live rock band provides the backbone, turning the Matthäuskirche into a high-energy concert hall. The timing, just before Halloween, invites costumes; the organisers promise drinks and plenty of room to dance. It's a convivial, low-barrier evening: if you enjoy big singalong choruses and a lively crowd, you'll likely feel at home.
