Gisèle Pelicot waived her right to anonymity in the trial against her ex-husband and over fifty other men convicted of countless sexual assaults against her. Her bravery turned her into a global symbol of resistance, sparking international debates and strengthening victims' rights. In her book "Eine Hymne an das Leben" (A Hymn to Life), she breaks the silence, demands justice, and clings to the belief in love despite all odds. This event, presented at the German National Library, features a conversation with the author in German and French. A live video stream will also be available on www.dnb.de without registration.
