Elementaro turns the Festplatz Bad Vilbel into a large-scale outdoor multimedia stage. The evening kicks off with live music and a wide selection of street food and drinks – from savoury bites to wine and international specialities. Around 8 p.m. the main attraction begins: a choreographed performance of water jets shooting up to 35 metres, spinning fans of flame, laser beams cutting across the night sky and video projections on a giant water screen, all timed to a soundtrack that moves from classical pieces to modern beats and film scores. The show lasts about two hours, broken into segments with short pauses. Across the site you’ll find a few hands‑on activity stations and a children’s corner. Hosts Mark Bieler and radio presenter Daniel Granitzny guide the evening with light commentary in German. Because the spectacle involves sudden loud noises, intense flashing lights and strobe effects, it’s wise to bring ear defenders for young children; the organisers also advise anyone with photosensitive epilepsy to check with their doctor before attending. The event is designed to be enjoyed by all ages, though parents of very young children should be aware that it runs late into the evening.
