Autumn Holiday Programme at Colorado Park Adventure Playground

About this event

During the autumn holidays, the adventure playground in Ginnheim runs a daily creative programme for children aged 6 and up. Most activities take place in the afternoon, roughly 14:30 to 16:30, and each weekday has its own theme. On Mondays there is cooking in the adventure kitchen, where kids help make a dish together. Other days include decorating the playground's rocket, making paper ghosts, painting ponies and crafting owl faces. In the second week there is also bread-on-a-stick baked over the campfire. Archery runs on Tuesdays from 14:00 to 17:00. It is for children aged 8 and over and only with advance registration (phone 069 / 56 16 42). Saturdays are open play, so kids can just use the playground. Small material contributions of 1–2 € apply to some crafts and to cooking. Supervised visitor groups (for example school or day-care groups) cannot take part in the scheduled activities. The playground is open Monday to Friday 11:00–18:00 and Saturday 13:00–18:00 and is closed on Sundays. It suits children who like to get stuck in, build, paint and play outdoors, and it has a relaxed neighbourhood feel.
