Marko Perković, better known as Thompson, is a Croatian rock musician who has become a defining voice for many in the diaspora. His music blends hard-rock guitar riffs with folk-inspired melodies and packs stadium-sized choruses that fans sing back at full volume. Lyrically, his songs circle around family, faith, love for Croatia and the complex memories of the 1990s war. For his followers, a live show feels less like a regular concert and more like a communal ritual. The Frankfurt date is part of a European tour and marks his first appearance in the city in nearly two decades. The concert at the Jahrhunderthalle so expect a densely packed hall with a predominantly Croatian-German crowd.
