World-renowned baritone Željko Lučić returns to the intimate Papageno Musiktheater for a special one‑night recital. Lučić, a former company member at Oper Frankfurt, has sung title roles from Rigoletto to Macbeth and Nabucco on stages from the Met to La Scala. Known for his rich, nuanced voice and dramatic intensity, he presents a cross‑section of his favourite arias. He is accompanied on the piano by his son Strahinja, creating a warm, chamber‑music atmosphere that brings world‑class operatic singing up close. The evening follows a 2024 benefit concert in which Lučić helped raise funds for the theatre’s roof renovation.
