About this event
The exhibition brings together works by 20 artists who took part in the Glenkeen Garden residency programme in West Cork, Ireland, between spring 2024 and autumn 2025. The landscaped park overlooking Roaringwater Bay, created by Ulrike Crespo, becomes the raw material for a multifaceted artistic inquiry into nature, time, and territory. The works tune into the specific frequencies of the region and translate them into scent, moss, video, CGI, drawing, painting, music, and performance. From holiday-home-like structures and clay huts (botháin dóibe) to houses made of wind, the installation forms a constellation that addresses immersion, mimicry, ecological cycles, and radioactive anxiety. The spacious ensemble encourages visitors to drift and to trace the subtle entanglements between human making and natural processes.
