About this event
The festival presents works that translate urgent social questions into movement. Anno Bolender and Keiko Schmitt’s “Missing You.” is a participatory performance that playfully explores what gets lost between people when AI takes over communication. Pauline Michel and Vilma Ehnberg’s “Rock Bottom” investigates weight, exhaustion and the transformative force of heaviness, set to raw guitar riffs and desert-like soundscapes. Silke Wiegand / SHADEseasons’ “Aspirin” uses motion capture and AI to render visible the physical toll of performance pressure and care work on FLINTA* bodies. An exchange project on racism and ableism, plus an Open Studio featuring works on South American diaspora poetry, Belarusian political captivity and subversive AI tactics, complete the line-up. Artist talks, a warm-up workshop, and childcare on one afternoon round out the week.
