About this event
Tag der Schiene is a nationwide celebration of railways, running from 18 to 20 September 2026. Across Germany, rail companies, museums and associations open their doors for special rides, behind-the-scenes tours, job fairs and family activities. In Frankfurt, exact venues and programmes are still being finalised – check back for updates on events at locations like the Frankfurter Feldbahnmuseum and the Verkehrsmuseum. Expect historic train rides, exhibitions and food stalls.
