About this event
The evening consists of two one-act plays. An Englishman Abroad follows Guy Burgess's encounter with actress Coral Browne in Moscow, capturing his tragicomic attempts to cling to Englishness while living as a Soviet citizen. A Question of Attribution portrays Sir Anthony Blunt at Buckingham Palace, where his secret life as a spy is mirrored by a forged Titian painting in the royal collection. Both plays combine sharp wit with probing questions about identity, loyalty, and the masks we wear.
