Rea Garvey, the Irish singer-songwriter who first found fame with the band Reamonn, brings his solo warmth and gravelly voice to a festive evening of Christmas music. The set pulls from his first holiday album, 'Christmas Calling', which mixes his own originals like the gentle anthem 'Happy Christmas' with heartfelt reworkings of familiar songs — notably 'Driving Home for Christmas', reimagined with German soul singer Joy Denalane and pop voice Esther Graf. On stage, his band the 'Elfs' backs him with polished rock-pop arrangements and a new, immersive stage design that aims to fill the large Kuppelsaal with a cosy, winter atmosphere.
