About this event
Paula Hartmann is bringing her new album „Das traurigste Mädchen der Welt“ (The Saddest Girl in the World) to the Jahrhunderthalle. The Berlin artist blends melancholic indie pop with hip-hop beats and lyrics that hit like a punch in the quiet – honest, unsentimental, and strangely comforting. Her debut „NIE VERLIEBT“ already turned heads, and the 2024 follow-up „KLEINE FEUER“ proved she could fill arenas without losing her edge. The upcoming record, out in March 2027, adds a few shards of light: lead single „zwei Punkte“ talks about turning ugly scars into a smile, and the whole album sounds a bit more accessible without giving up the stubbornness that makes her music feel so real. In the Kuppelsaal, the room will shift between intimate whispers and swelling choruses. There is a mix of seating and a standing floor, so you can choose your own way to experience it. The lyrics are in German, but Hartmann’s delivery and the atmospheric production cross language barriers easily. The show is loud and textured, with the kind of lighting that turns a concert hall into a mood ring. No under-6s are admitted, and while the event is not aimed at young children, it is a solid night for anyone who enjoys pop that wears its heart on its sleeve and isn’t afraid of a little darkness. Expect a freshly staged set with new material, and a crowd that knows every word.
