About this event
For two weeks in summer, Opernplatz becomes a giant supervised adventure playground for kids up to about 12. You can paddle mini boats in the Lucae Fountain, build water courses at the Marshall Fountain, try the climbing tower, bounce on different-sized bouncy cushions and the bungee trampoline, or hold on to the electric bull. There’s also a craft corner, board games, mini vehicles and much more. Almost everything is free; only a few treats like the bungee trampoline require a small contribution (3 EUR). The non-profit Abenteuerspielplatz Riederwald e.V. runs the event and 35 trained staff are on hand all day – so pack a change of clothes for the water fun and enjoy a relaxed family outing in the heart of the city.
