The third edition of the festival "Text Matters. Matters of Text" explores the book as a series of rooms – not a dusty cultural artefact but a social sculpture, a container of relationships and a space for discourse. This evening's participatory stage conversation brings together author and journalist Şeyda Kurt with graphic designer and publisher Manuel Raeder. Kurt, who has published acclaimed non-fiction on radical tenderness and hate, this summer releases her debut novel *Zeit der Monster* (Time of Monsters), grappling with life in times of apocalypse. Raeder, founder of the publishing house BOM DIA BOA TARDE BOA NOITE, investigates how type, layout and the physicality of books shape societal narratives; his practice has produced over 250 artists' books. Moderated by artistic director Holm-Uwe Burgemann, the talk invites the audience to join the discussion. Afterwards, the museum's book bar serves cold drinks for a relaxed hangout.
