About this event
For Naxos Hallenkonzerte #102, the ensemble MAM.manufaktur für aktuelle musik presents an evening that blurs the lines between concert and installation. Inspired by philosopher Gaston Bachelard, the programme explores liminal spaces – those in-between realms where sound transforms into architecture and light sculpts the very room you're standing in. You'll hear Zeynep Toraman’s Avant-Pop piece 'Growth and Phantasm' played on a rare analog Dominion 1 synthesizer, witness Raphaël Languillat’s alien light sculptures in 'ΡΘЯTΛΓ' reacting to sound, and experience a dialogue between violinist Malin Grass and a digital slime mold in Marta Haladzhun’s reactive light installation 'Slime Mold'. Trumpet, cello, and electronics round out a performance that invites you to wander, listen, and lose yourself in shifting perceptions.
