About this event
Author and illustrator Jörg Mühle has charmed whole nursery cohorts with his tender, funny picture books like “Tickle My Ears” (the ‘Hasenkind’ series) and “Two for Me, One for You”. Now he turns to beginning readers with his first children’s comic “Quite Brave!” (Moritz Verlag). In a dozen short, witty episodes, young heroes Nini the rabbit, Goldi the hamster and Klaus the dormouse navigate everyday conundrums about courage: trying something new, saying no, facing dares. Mühle reads from the comic, projects the panels and invites children to think out loud and share their own ideas. The reading is part of the Junges Literaturhaus programme, supported by the Dr. Marschner Stiftung and the Cronstett- und Hynspergische evangelische Stiftung. It is designed for school classes from Year 1 upwards, making it a natural springboard for talking with kids about fear, friendship and everyday bravery.
