About this event

Five letters that stand for a whole world: 'AI era' was the word of the year in 2025. Artificial intelligence has arrived in every area of life – including music, where it opens up entirely new possibilities. At this festival, the Alte Oper brings together artificial intelligence and artistic intelligence. Pianist Kit Armstrong, the Alte Oper's AI ambassador, leads a series of events that include a roundtable discussion, a Beethoven-inspired concert with real-time AI collaboration, a free workshop concert on AI-driven room acoustics, and an improvisation concert with the AI-controlled grand piano LARS.
