About this event
At this edition of the ‘First Books’ series, Clara Leinemann reads from ‘Gelbe Monster’, the story of a woman who finds herself in anti-aggression training after a relationship spirals out of control. Leh-Wei Liao presents ‘Glaszeit’, in which a young doctor in Taipei is unexpectedly confronted with her estranged mother’s art and her own past. Moderated by Elena Witzeck, the evening offers a deep dive into two striking literary voices that negotiate female experiences with intelligence and subtle humour.
