About this event
Cécile McLorin Salvant, the 2026/27 jazz artist-in-residence at Alte Oper Frankfurt, is praised by both jazz and classical legends. She does not like to be pigeonholed into a single genre, equally rooted in classical singing and jazz. In this concert with the Rhineland-Palatinate State Philharmonic under Ernst Theis, she demonstrates her stylistic versatility with a programme of jazz standards, accompanied by a large orchestra.
